Navarra’s entrepreneurial ecosystem will once again become a meeting point for startups, investors, and innovative organizations with the celebration of CEIN Startup Day 2025, now reaching its fifth edition with a clear national focus. This year, the event will bring together participants from Navarra, the Valencian Region, La Rioja, Aragon, Cantabria, and Catalonia on November 17 and 18 at the European Business and Innovation Centre of Navarra (CEIN), an organization under the Department of Industry and Business Ecological and Digital Transition of the Government of Navarra.

Consolidated as one of the leading forums for entrepreneurship and investment, the event is open to startups, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, large corporations, and public and private organizations. Its goal is to attract investment and promote the growth and international expansion of emerging projects from their early stages.

Over 400 attendees in the previous edition

Last year’s CEIN Startup Day brought together more than 400 participants, and this year’s edition aims to surpass that figure thanks to the incorporation of new regions through the TechFabLab digital entrepreneurship project, which fosters inter-territorial cooperation and technological specialization.

Connecting talent and investment

The conference will begin on the afternoon of November 17 with a networking session designed to strengthen connections among startups, investors, and corporations. The opening session will feature Eneritz Zubizarreta, Director of Quality Assurance at Izertis, who will deliver a keynote on technology as an ally in people management. In addition, CEIN will recognize new companies linked to its programs and Navarre-based firms distinguished with the “Top 101 Spain Up Nation” seal.

On November 18, startup pitches from the health, digitech, and agro-greentech sectors will take place, with projects presented before specialized investment funds and major corporations. Participating startups will also have the opportunity to hold one-on-one meetings with investors through the event’s networking app.

Round tables and leading speakers

The program includes a panel discussion on emerging trends, featuring Alfons Cornella (Institute of Next), Carmen Jaca (Tecnun), Carmen Torrijos (Prodigioso Volcán), and Alex Pascual (University of Oxford).

Another panel will explore the keys to successful startup investment, with insights from Falk Siegel (Kleta), Paloma Martín (Tribbu), Rocío Castrillo (ENISA), and Santiago Sala (Grupo Apex).

A third session will focus on innovation and collaboration as drivers of growth, featuring Marta Pedrosa (CINFA), Isaac Lemus (EGADE Business School, Tecnológico de Monterrey), and Patricia Berjón (DOMINION GLOBAL).

The event will conclude with a keynote address by Mercé Tell, Co-Founder and General Partner at Encomenda Capital Partners, who will share strategies and practical advice for attracting investment.
