CDTI Innovación, the innovation agency of Spain’s Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, has published the final resolution of the INNOGLOBAL FEDER 2025 call for international technological cooperation R&D projects. A total of €5.2 million has been allocated to 21 projects across seven Autonomous Communities to support the participation of Spanish companies in international R&D consortia within international technological cooperation programmes and Big Science projects involving large-scale scientific facilities. The initiative is expected to mobilize a total investment of €9.4 million.

Innoglobal 2025 proyectos

INNOGLOBAL 2025 is the first dedicated ERDF grant instrument created by CDTI Innovación to encourage participation in international technological cooperation programmes by companies located in the eleven eligible autonomous communities and cities. In its inaugural 2025 edition, the call attracted applications across the three main programme pillars envisaged (multilateral, bilateral and unilateral cooperation, and Big Science) and supported projects in seven of the eleven ERDF-eligible regions. This reflects a demand-building phase that CDTI Innovación is reinforcing through the new INNOGLOBAL FEDER 2026 call, whose application period opened on 17 June and which has a budget of €30.25 million.

The Valencian Community accounts for the largest share of supported projects, with seven projects receiving €1,812,036 in grants, followed by Andalusia, with five projects and €1,400,961 in funding. Galicia has secured financing for four projects (€866,780), while Castile-La Mancha has obtained support for two projects (€583,997). The Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, and the Region of Murcia complete the distribution, with one project each.
