CaixaBank Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) has led a €530 million financing transaction for Helia Renovables IV, the alternative investment vehicle promoted by Bankinter Investment and Plenium Partners, aimed at optimizing the financial structure of a portfolio of photovoltaic assets with a total installed capacity of 130 MW.
The transaction, which also included the participation of ABANCA, has been structured as senior debt, with CaixaBank CIB acting as the lead financing institution.
In addition, CaixaBank CIB served as Bookrunner, Mandated Lead Arranger, Facility Agent and Green Agent, further strengthening its position as a leading financial institution in the financing of energy transition projects and sustainable infrastructure developments.
The financing will support the optimization of the capital structure of the photovoltaic assets held by Helia Renovables IV, enhancing their long-term operational and financial performance while contributing to renewable energy generation and decarbonization goals.
Through this transaction, CaixaBank reaffirms its commitment to supporting initiatives that accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy, providing specialized financing solutions for renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure projects.
