The private equity firm BO Capital Partners SGEIC (www.bogestora.com ) is finalizing the launch of a new private equity fund specialized in the water sector, with a target capital of €10 million.
The fund plans to invest in 5 or 6 companies developing sustainable, scalable, and profitable technologies focused on water reuse and circularity, providing solutions to global challenges such as water scarcity, operational efficiency, and sustainability.
The strategy will focus on creating an integrated business group capable of competing or collaborating with the major multinationals in the sector. To achieve this, it will drive the consolidation of innovative companies through vertical and horizontal integration, generation of operational synergies, commercial scalability, and international expansion.
“We want to transform the water sector through innovation and business consolidation, supporting small companies with high potential that need a boost to grow and scale their sustainable solutions,” says Abel Conill, Chairman and General Partner of BO Capital Partners.
BO Capital Partners aims to create a strategic consolidation vehicle in the water sector, attracting investors committed to innovation, sustainability, and business growth, in an ecosystem dominated by large traditional corporations but highly fragmented by small specialized companies struggling to scale — which will be the target.
The BO management team has a solid track record in sustainable investments and particularly in the water sector, which began in 2015 with the VICTORIA Venture Capital SCR fund and was further strengthened over the past five years through the leadership of Hydrokemos S.L. (www.hydrokemos.com
