Arca Digital has raised €1 million to make pension plans an accessible benefit for any company. The round was co-led by Draper B1 and Robin Capital. Robin Capital is making its debut in Spain, in a sector where it has extensive experience. With deep knowledge of the pension market, it is an investor in startups such as Penzilla and Xaver, leading retirement-tech platforms in Germany. The Belgian fund Newschool.vc also participated, making its first investment in Spain, alongside well-known fintech business angels including Fernando Cabello-Astolfi, Iván Peña, and Juan Montero.

“At Draper B1, we are very excited to lead Arca’s round. A young, ambitious founding team with a clear focus on product and technology. Their early traction and strong signs of product–market fit reinforce our conviction in the project. We also strongly believe in the powerful regulatory tailwinds driving occupational pension plans in Europe. Arca is smartly positioning itself as key infrastructure supporting financial providers focused on the digitalization of retirement savings,” said Jon Etxeberría, Principal at Draper B1.

Robin Haak, General Partner at Robin Capital, added: “We are proud to support Arca Digital in its mission to modernize retirement savings plans for small and medium-sized enterprises. Retirement plan infrastructure has remained largely unchanged for decades, leaving millions of employees without accessible solutions. Arca Digital is rethinking this sector from the ground up with a platform that deeply integrates plan administration, payroll, and regulatory compliance. This is the kind of infrastructure that can radically transform how retirement savings solutions are delivered.”

Quote from Sergio (CEO): “It is a pleasure to work alongside well-known players in savings and investment such as Caser Seguros and Indexa Capital. Above all, we are enabling companies from very diverse sectors—from traditional industrial businesses to more modern ones such as software—to offer a complementary and transparent pension to their employees. We have started 2026 by multiplying our pension business tenfold, with a growth strategy focused on delivering the best retirement savings experience in the market and continuing to increase the number of companies and employees that trust Arca Digital.”

The objective of the round is to consolidate the platform in the Spanish market, positioning Arca Digital as the leading solution for occupational pensions. Not only for companies, but also for HR technology platforms and other partners that can now easily offer pension plans within their product offerings, leveraging Arca Digital’s technology.

Thanks to Arca Digital, the distribution of pension plans is being completely transformed. Without increasing the fees charged to savers, the business generates higher margins through a technology-driven, API-first model that automates processes such as user support, daily contribution management, onboarding, offboarding, and transfers.

This is the only way pension fund managers can access a new market by distributing their products to small and medium-sized enterprises without transferring administrative burdens—one of the main barriers preventing companies from offering the tax advantages of occupational pension plans to their employees.
