MentorDay and INCIBE launch a new edition of the free CiberEMPRENDE program, aimed at both cybersecurity startups and any digital-based business. The application deadline is August 15, 2025.

CiberEMPRENDE: the acceleration program that boosts startups with a digital presence and a focus on cybersecurity

The CiberEMPRENDE acceleration program, promoted by the accelerator MentorDay in collaboration with the Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE), is now accepting applications until August 15. The initiative is aimed at tech startups, emerging digital businesses, and projects directly or indirectly linked to the cybersecurity sector.

This is a fully free acceleration program, funded by the European Union’s Next Generation EU funds. It offers intensive training, personalized mentoring, and access to a powerful network of experts to help entrepreneurs consolidate and scale their digital ventures.

Unlike other sector-specific initiatives, CiberEMPRENDE is open to both cybersecurity-focused projects and startups from any industry with a digital presence: online stores, platforms, apps, enterprise software, cloud services, digital marketing solutions, and more.

Training, mentoring, and visibility to help you grow

The program offers key benefits such as:

  • Over 45 hours of intensive hybrid training (online and in Santa Cruz de Tenerife)
  • 1 month of personalized one-on-one mentoring with experts
  • Speed mentoring with professionals specialized in technology, business, and cybersecurity
  • Extra benefits for the top 20 projects

Additionally, the top 10 projects will be invited to participate in an exclusive DemoDay in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, where they’ll pitch their solutions to investors, business angels, and key players in the tech innovation ecosystem.

Requirements and registration

Applicants must be adults residing in Spain, fluent in Spanish, and up to date with their obligations to Social Security and the Tax Agency. For team projects, only one member needs to meet these requirements.

The deadline to apply for this edition is August 15.

After submitting their application, selected projects will be evaluated by MentorDay and validated by INCIBE before entering the acceleration phase.

To apply, follow these steps:

  1. Fill out the form at:
    mentorday.es/programas/aceleracion-ciberseguridad-ciberemprende
  2. Submit your project before August 15
  3. Get ready to take your startup to the next level!
