Addleshaw Goddard has successfully advised Generali Real Estate, part of the Generali Investments group, on a significant leasing agreement with the Radisson hotel group for a prime property situated at Calle Alcalá 21, in the heart of Madrid. This strategic collaboration will lead to the inauguration of the first Radisson Collection luxury hotel in Spain's capital, following an extensive refurbishment of the building.

The transaction was expertly managed by a dedicated team from Addleshaw Goddard's Real Estate Law Department, spearheaded by José Antonio Calleja, Partner, and Pilar Lorenzo, Senior Associate.

Scheduled to open in 2027, the hotel aims to elevate Madrid's status as a premier destination for luxury tourism on a global scale. Spanning over 8,500 square metres in one of Madrid's most prestigious locations, near Puerta del Sol and Gran Vía, the hotel will feature 154 rooms and suites across 12 floors. It will also include a spa, a heated swimming pool and several bars and restaurants.
