Soho Hospitality Group (Soho Boutique Hotels) concludes temporary financing support from SEPI to overcome the Covid crisis

Soho Hoteles has voluntarily and ahead of schedule completed the public financing support provided by SEPI during the Covid crisis, with the backing and confidence of the banking sector. This support helped the hotel group preserve its active hotel portfolio and maintain more than 600 jobs at the time—now exceeding 2,000.

In January 2022, Soho Hoteles received aid from the Solvency Support Fund for Strategic Companies (FASEE), managed by the Spanish State Industrial Holdings Company (SEPI), after meeting all eligibility criteria and demonstrating the soundness of its viability plan for the coming years.

The financing package consisted of a €24 million participative loan and a €6 million ordinary loan, totalling €30 million. Over the past three and a half years, Soho Hoteles has met all repayment deadlines and fulfilled all associated commitments, including job preservation, financial and operational ratios, its Ecological Transition Plan, and other agreed terms.
