IESE is once again launching its annual training program for investors, the “Business Angels and Family Offices Academy,” at its Madrid and Barcelona campuses.

The Business Angels Academy is an IESE program with its own methodology designed to teach how to invest in high-growth companies. Led by IESE professors who are also active investors with experience in startup investing, the program will delve into practical case studies and real examples, addressing key questions such as: How to invest in startups? What does the investment process involve? How can high-growth opportunities be identified? What valuation criteria are applied? Is the shareholders’ agreement a standard document? What are the main exit strategies?

The development of Family Offices (FOs) as an essential part of entrepreneurial families is becoming increasingly complex. This program aims to respond to these challenges in a practical way through real cases and by creating a forum that enables participants to share and compare different approaches. Over two days, the methodology is based on participative sessions and conferences led by professors and professionals with experience advising family offices.

The Academy consists of two independent modules that can be taken either together or separately:

Business Angels Module:
May 20 in Barcelona and June 17 in Madrid

Family Offices Module:
May 21 in Barcelona and June 18 in Madrid
