Waypo, Banbu, La Muda, and Emyra cara a cara present their projects at the 24th Investor Round organized by the Innovation and Development Foundation (FIDBAN).

This edition, thanks to the collaboration of the Santander City Council’s Department of Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Business Development, led by Isabel Gómez-Barreda, takes place at the Santander Center for Business Initiatives (CIE), inaugurated last September to foster talent, technology, and entrepreneurship.

Four Cantabrian startups will present their projects:

Waypo is a fintech startup specializing in mortgage intermediation and management in Spain, acting as a digital mortgage broker. Its main goal is to simplify and digitize the process of obtaining or improving a mortgage for users, making it faster, more transparent, and less costly.

Banbu is an eco-friendly, waterless cosmetics brand created to transform the industry by eliminating toxins and significantly reducing the sector’s environmental footprint. With over 40,000 households reached and presence in retail, e-commerce, and international marketplaces, Banbu has proven that sustainability and effectiveness can go hand in hand.

La Muda capitalizes on the growing demand for authentic adventure tourism with a unique proposal: an ultra-distance bikepacking challenge in the Pasiegos Valleys. It connects a global cycling community with local culture, creating a sustainable and regenerative tourism model with a high economic impact for the region.

Finally, Emyra cara a cara is a Cantabrian startup that organizes in-person meetings: two compatible people, a table in a safe and carefully selected restaurant, and one hour to share a moment. No screens, no photos, no prior chats. Face to face. They aim to change the way people meet today, bringing back the human connection.

This edition will open with Jose Manuel Colsa, CEO and founder of Vamos Rural, a digital platform for rural tourism and activity bookings that directly connects travelers with local providers and hosts. José Manuel will be interviewed by Fermín Mier, content director of Cadena SER in Cantabria.

The Investor Round is open to entrepreneurs and potential investors. To attend, register at secretaria@fidban.com, eventos.sercantabria@cadenaser.com or https://www.fidban.com/inscripcion-inversores
