Spanish private equity fund, Realza Capital, has acquired a majority stake in Uniformes Gary´s, a leading company in the design, finishing and marketing of workwear for specialised shops, with a high positioning in design, quality and price. ONEtoONE Corporate Finance advised the company throughout this transaction. The founder and CEO of Gary´s, Luís Martínez, will continue to hold a substantial stake in the capital and will continue to lead the company.
Established in 2001 and located in Velez Rubio (Almeria), Gary´s has experienced significant growth, especially in recent years, fuelled by its outstanding designs, extensive product range and excellent service, the combination of which has generated a remarkable customer loyalty. By 2023, the company aims to reach of 22 million euros, with a workforce of approximately 100 employees.
Realza Capital´s investment will provide a boost to Gary´s ambitious development plan, in which it expects to double sales in the next four years, expanding its target sectors and continuing its international business expansion into neighbouring European countries. In order to achieve this, the company plans to invest in new facilities to ensure expansion potential, optimise process efficiency and maintain its reputation of excellent customer service.
In addition to ONEtoONE, Arwood acted as legal advisor to Gary´s, while Grant Thornton legally advised Realza Capital. Due Diligence has been carried out by Grant Thornton, EY, KPMG and Baker Tilly, among others.
