Ucademy, a leading educational company specializing in preparing academic tests—such as university entrance exams, public service exams, and vocational training—has secured an investment of €3.5 million aimed at accelerating its growth by creating new verticals, improving its technological product, and expanding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in study personalization.

This transaction comes after years of strong growth and the addition of new educational verticals, including the launch of vocational training programs and master’s degrees, consolidating its position as one of the sector’s leading companies.

“This funding round marks a key milestone on our journey,” said Ramiro Zandrino, CEO and co-founder of Ucademy. “This investment not only strengthens our financial position but also validates our long-term vision and strategy, providing us with the necessary resources to execute it.”

Aniol Brosa, General Partner at Inveready, commented: “We are delighted to support Ucademy in its next stage of growth, alongside an exceptional founding team and partners. We firmly believe in their value proposition and in Ramiro and Pablo’s vision, as well as the tailwinds in the market following years of excellent execution by the team, which has allowed them to position themselves as leaders in their field.”

Raúl Rodríguez, Deputy General Manager of Banco Sabadell and Managing Director of BS Capital, added: “We are excited to support Ucademy in its mission to transform education through innovation and accessibility. The company has positioned itself with a compelling technological solution, and we see Ucademy as a key player in the future of edtech.”

With this new funding, Ucademy plans to invest in AI-driven learning experiences, expand its presence in Europe and Latin America, and strengthen its position in its three main business lines: university entrance exams, public service exams, and vocational training.

About Ucademy

Ucademy is a leading Spanish edtech company that helps students prepare for key academic and professional milestones, including university entrance exams, public service exams, and vocational training. The company was founded in 2022 by Ramiro Zandrino and Pablo Prieto, who saw an opportunity to rethink education during the Covid-19 pandemic. What began as live sessions on Twitch using a basic Amazon whiteboard to help Ramiro’s younger brother and his friends with math and physics quickly evolved into a scalable technology-based platform.

Currently, Ucademy supports more than 5,500 active students in over 20 countries, with a team of 85 people and 40 validated programs. The company has demonstrated its ability to scale by delivering top-tier results: success rates 2 to 3 times higher than the industry average, costs 60% lower, and gross margins above 80%. Its success lies in combining live classes, expert teachers, smart assessments, educational coaching, and AI-driven personalization to create fully tailored learning paths.

Since day one, Ucademy’s mission has been clear: to make high-impact education more accessible, personalized, and engaging, empowering every student to achieve their goals faster and more effectively.
