The Regional Development Agency (SRP), a public company of the Principality of Asturias, has formalized a financial transaction in collaboration with Sabadell Herrero to support the growth and consolidation of Industrial Solutions Servipesa, a Gijón-based company specializing in engineering and industrial services.
This support will strengthen the company’s financial structure and back its expansion plan, which aims to increase its presence in new markets, enhance its operational capabilities, and undertake investments in modernization, production efficiency, and customer service.
Industrial Solutions Servipesa has a solid track record in the manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of industrial weighing systems, incorporating state-of-the-art information technologies. The company is now entering a new phase under the strategic impetus of ALA Industrial Partners, the project’s sponsor. The transaction forms part of a long-term industrial consolidation strategy aligned with the objectives of strengthening the business fabric, boosting competitiveness, and creating skilled employment.
The growth plan includes nationwide expansion through the opening of new branches, thereby reinforcing the company’s presence in strategic markets. It also contemplates inorganic growth through the acquisition of companies in other regions, as well as an ambitious internationalization process, with a focus on entering the United States and the Middle East.
The investment will be used to reinforce the group’s financial structure, expand its activity into new markets, and implement improvements in modernization and production efficiency. As part of the transaction, SRP is participating through a participating loan representing 30% of the total operation, enabling it to support the project’s national and international expansion.
The plan foresees the creation of 11 new jobs across the group over the next two years, in addition to the current workforce of 40 employees, further consolidating its contribution to economic development and the generation of skilled employment.
