Siroco Capital, the private equity company managed by Talenta and focused on investments in wind farms and photovoltaic plants in Spain, has extended its investment period by a further five years.

Siroco was established in 2015 with an initial lifespan of seven years. In 2022, it decided to extend this period by an additional three years, until 2025. At the end of last year, following the will of its shareholders, the firm approved a new extension of its investment period until 2030.

Between 2015 and 2025, Siroco completed 12 investments totalling €26 million, with 95% of these investments in operating assets and 93% focused on wind farms. The remainder is split between two grid-connected solar photovoltaic plants and four small solar installations dedicated to industrial self-consumption.

Siroco has achieved broad geographic diversification, investing in generation facilities located in Catalonia, Aragon, Cantabria, Castile and León, Galicia, Basque Country and Andalusia. The aggregate installed capacity amounts to 285 MW, of which 72 MW are attributable to Siroco based on its ownership stakes in each project company.

At the end of 2025, Enervent, a company backed by Siroco, completed one of the largest wind repowering projects in Spain at the Colladetes Wind Farm. The project involved replacing 54 ageing wind turbines installed in 1999 with eight new, larger and more powerful turbines, increasing the total capacity from 36.6 MW to 48.8 MW and doubling energy production.

For this new stage, Siroco aims to invest between €10 million and €15 million. The firm will maintain its investment strategy focused on operating wind farms in Spain, while continuing to invest in solar plants dedicated to industrial self-consumption. In recent years, several Siroco-backed companies have initiated procedures to hybridise wind farms with solar photovoltaic installations and, more recently, to hybridise solar plants with battery storage.

Since its creation in 2015, Siroco has generated €15 million in cash flow and has distributed €9 million to its shareholders
