The Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Administration , through the Spanish Society for Technological Transformation (SETT), has announced an investment of two million euros in the TuringDream project , which promotes the “democratization” of Artificial Intelligence through its “agent” technology or technology managed through so-called “autonomous agents”.

Located in Madrid, the TuringDream project represents a shift in the development of artificial intelligence, moving from a language-based model to one based on agentic systems . Through a cloud platform, these "agents" allow users to configure the AI themselves , without the need for engineers. Hence, the "democratization" of the system.

“It is in everyone’s interest that TuringDream succeeds,” stated the Minister for Digital Transformation and Public Administration, Óscar López , at the presentation of this investment at the company’s headquarters in Torrelodones (Madrid). He affirmed that in Spain “many things are being done well” in the development of Artificial Intelligence and that “the recipe for success is public-private collaboration.” “Keep innovating, keep counting on us; we are drivers, we are clients, and we are partners,” he added.

TuringDream's main innovation is the dynamic structure of each agent. The platform features an optimization system that evaluates and scores each component or "resource" available for building an agent. As the agent interacts with the user, it gathers data on its own performance. The more the agent interacts with the user, the better it adapts to their specific needs .

This initiative opens the door for professionals in specific sectors (teachers, doctors, lawyers, etc.) to easily customize the platform to suit the specific needs of their work. Currently, the company already operates in the banking, information technology, healthcare, and education sectors , where one of its solutions enhances secondary school students' learning by offering private tutoring to many families who cannot afford in-person tutors.

TuringDream's proposal is highly disruptive not only because its agentic platforms significantly improve how people interact with technology, but also because of their ability to make autonomous decisions, adapt to new situations, and continuously optimize their work . TuringDream represents a unique business opportunity for the development of general AI in Spain, gradually fostering its adoption in the corporate environment and SMEs. Thanks to its business model approach, the technology can be commercialized across multiple sectors.

SETT is carrying out this operation through its Next Tech facility , using funds from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (Next Generation EU Funds) , which aims to boost financing for startups and scale-ups in the technology sector. In addition, SETT manages two other facilities to strengthen the technology business ecosystem: PERTE Chip , dedicated to microelectronics and semiconductors, and Spain Audiovisual Hub , which promotes the digitalization of the audiovisual sector.
