The 12th edition of Alhambra Venture, the most ambitious to date with a record number of startups and experts, concluded with its traditional awards ceremony. Over three days, the entrepreneurship event organised by IDEAL brought together representatives of public institutions, private funds and companies looking to consolidate and expand their businesses. The main Alhambra Venture 2025 award went to Quintauris, a startup dedicated to accelerating the commercialisation of processors based on RISC-V (Reduced Instruction Set Computing).

The award to Quintauris was presented by Amelia Martínez Sánchez, Deputy Minister of Economy, Finance and European Funds of the Government of Andalusia, who congratulated Quintauris and thanked the event organisers for their dedication. “Startups are key to Andalusia’s competitiveness in Europe. Under Juanma Moreno’s government, we have prioritised innovation to boost the competitiveness of our companies,” said the Deputy Minister. For his part, Pedro López Estepa, head of Quintauris, expressed his gratitude for the award and stressed that “what really matters is the people who took part,” while highlighting the role of the host city: “The question ‘Why Granada?’ answers itself.”

As for the vertical category awards, the first—focused on Education—went to Red Team Shield, a Spanish startup specialising in red teaming and consultancy to defend critical infrastructure against armed commercial drones. The award was presented by Pedro Díez, President of Tecdual.

The second award, in the Impact vertical, went to ELdeS, the world’s first platform that enables large-scale, interactive and self-guided sign language learning using Artificial Intelligence and motion detection. The prize was presented by Rocío González, Events Manager at IDEAL, and Silvia Miranda, Marketing and Operations Director.

Luis Guijarro, Commercial Director at IDEAL, presented the Agrotech vertical award to Venturi Technologies, a startup developing advanced sensor technology and artificial intelligence solutions for more efficient and sustainable agriculture.

One Plan won the Artificial Intelligence vertical. Ignacio Rodríguez, Alhambra Venture coordinator, presented the award. One Plan describes itself as the first virtual executive committee powered by AI Avatars for fast-growing companies.

The Applied Technologies award was presented by Quico Chirino, Director of IDEAL, to Kreios Space S.L., a company developing electric propulsion systems for satellites in very low Earth orbits.

Finally, the Health vertical award, presented by Antonio González, Managing Director of IDEAL, went to Duponte, the creator of Matchgénica—an AI-driven platform that translates complex pharmacogenomic data into answers that are easy to understand and apply in clinical practice.

Once again, Alhambra Venture exceeded the expectations of its participants, investors, startups and partners, successfully creating a vibrant space for entrepreneurship and innovation in the city of Granada.
