The Spanish investment firm Quarza Inversiones has formalized its entry into the UK market with the signing of its first transaction in the country, in partnership with Sienna Private Equity. The transaction has been carried out through a co-investment in Independent Talent Group (ITG), one of the leading talent representation agencies in the United Kingdom, specializing in the entertainment and media industry.

The Spanish firm, led by Cristian Abelló, is thus advancing its international expansion strategy through a deal structured as a minority buy-out, completed in December 2025. The investment was led by Sienna, a European private equity fund with offices in Paris and Milan, founded by Vincent Catherine and Hugo d'Avout, and backed by the holding company Groupe Bruxelles Lambert. According to market sources, the transaction valued ITG at approximately $100 million.

Independent Talent Group, headquartered in London, is a leading talent agency that manages the careers of actors, directors, screenwriters, producers, and other professionals within the audiovisual ecosystem, including technical and creative talent. Its roster includes names such as Daniel Craig, Jodie Comer, Sophie Turner, and David Tennant.

The transaction aims to drive the company’s next phase of growth by strengthening talent acquisition and management, expanding its commercial capabilities, and deploying an active mergers and acquisitions strategy. In addition, the new investors plan to broaden ITG’s service offering and accelerate its international expansion beyond the UK market. The management team, led by founder and chairman Duncan Heath, will remain in place and retain a significant stake in the business.

This investment is part of Quarza Inversiones’s strategy of taking minority stakes to facilitate entry into new geographies, leveraging European private equity. The firm has already replicated this model in France, where it acquired Adikteev; in Germany, with its investment in SK Pharma Logistics in 2022; and in Greece, following its investment in Pharos.

Meanwhile, The Yucaipa Companies, the investment firm led by Ronald Burkle, will remain a financial partner in ITG. The fund first invested in the agency in 2012 and has extensive experience across sectors including sports, hospitality, food, and retail. In Spain, it acquired a stake in the organizer of the Primavera Sound festival in 2018.

With this transaction, Quarza Inversiones strengthens its position as an active player in European private equity and continues to advance its international growth strategy, focusing on high-potential sectors such as entertainment and media
