Koesio, France’s leading independent provider of local digital services for SMEs and mid-sized companies (€1.2 billion in revenue in 2024), announces the acquisition of Solitium, a major player in Spain’s IT, software, and printing solutions sectors. This transaction marks the largest external growth operation in Koesio’s history, while maintaining its strong pace of local acquisitions in the French market. ProA Capital acquired a majority stake in Solitium in 2019 through its third private equity fund and, since then, has driven the group’s growth through more than 40 acquisitions, implementing a buy & build strategy that has nearly tripled its size
With this merger, the group’s workforce grows from 3,100 to over 4,500 employees, strengthening its position as a major player in Europe’s digital services market.
Growth maintained despite a challenging economic context
While the French economic climate is marked by frozen investments and increased caution among businesses, Koesio continues its growth momentum. This acquisition demonstrates the ability of French SMEs and mid-sized companies to invest, innovate, and expand even in uncertain economic conditions. Koesio’s resilience is built on its proximity-based model, strong regional presence, and diversification strategy.
Solitium, a key leader in Spain
Founded in 2005 in Madrid, Solitium has, in just 20 years, become the leading digital services provider for Spanish SMEs. The company currently employs around 1,400 people across more than 60 cities throughout Spain, with a unique nationwide network.
Solitium supports nearly 50,000 SME clients through a comprehensive service portfolio: IT, cybersecurity, software, cloud, 3D printing, professional printing, and managed services.
In 2024, Solitium generated €264 million in revenue and is expected to reach €285 million in 2025. The company is led by Rafael Martín, who will remain CEO and continue to drive Solitium’s growth in Spain, working closely with Koesio’s teams.
A major milestone for Koesio
With the integration of Solitium, Koesio reaches a new milestone in its development plan:
Piéric Brenier, Founder and President of Koesio:“ After two days of joint work at Koesio’s headquarters in Valence, we quickly realized how much we share the same DNA. One thing is certain: we don’t want to create a ‘Koesio Spain’; we want to keep growing in Spain — and soon in Portugal, I hope. We need all the skills and all the people at Solitium to continue building this great adventure together.”
Rafael Martín, CEO of Solitium: “Joining Koesio is an incredible opportunity for Solitium and for our clients. We share the same entrepreneurial culture, the same service standards, and the same vision: to become the leading partner for SMEs in their digital transformation.”
