Pictet, a leading alternative investment manager, continues to strengthen its private equity offer with the new vintage of the successful Monte Rosa Co-Investment franchise. With a long history investing in private equity dating back to 1989, Pictet has committed capital to over 200 co-investments to date.
This new strategy is for professional investors seeking to generate long-term capital appreciation. The strategy will target circa 30 co-investments globally alongside well-known General Partners (GPs), providing clients the opportunity to invest in buy-out, growth and venture capital opportunities.
Commenting on the launch, Maurizio Arrigo, Global Head of Private Equity at Pictet, said, “Pictet has a highly experienced team who employs a rigorous selection process to evaluate co-investment opportunities. Our network, built over 30 years of private equity investing, allows us access to the best deals from the best GPs”.
David Marechal, Deputy Head of Private Equity & Co-Head of Europe at Pictet, further added, “With a seat on the advisory board of most of our GPs, we enjoy privileged relationships and sourcing of deals. Our access to co-investments coupled with a prudent investment approach has allowed us to build a successful track record in the Monte Rosa franchise for the benefit of our investors.”
Today, Pictet manages USD 23 bn in private equity, with over USD 1 billion in the Monte Rosa Co-investment franchise.
