PIB Group Iberia, a global insurance broker, has announced the acquisition of Vitaance, one of the most advanced employee benefits and wellness technology platforms on the market. The transaction, currently pending final approval from the Spanish Directorate General of Insurance and Pension Funds (DGSFP), strengthens PIB Group Iberia’s position in the areas of personal protection, flexible compensation, and corporate wellness.

As part of the agreement, Ana Zamora, founder and CEO of Vitaance, joins PIB Group Iberia as Director of Flexible Compensation, leading the platform integration strategy and the development of new solutions focused on employee wellness and talent retention. This agreement follows the recent addition of Pablo López, a key figure in the commercial development of the area, bringing his experience in the national market and reinforcing the reach of this business line.

The integration of Vitaance will generate direct synergies with the Employee Benefits division, led by Silvie Cuijpers, promoting a comprehensive model of compensation, welfare, and wellness that combines insurance advisory and cutting-edge technology.

A comprehensive and high-impact wellness platform

Vitaance offers a digital solution that brings together all employee benefits and insurance in a single environment, providing full flexibility to configure any compensation plan, from flexible remuneration and social benefits to physical, mental, and financial wellness programs.

The platform uses gamification and behavioral science to drive engagement and employee loyalty, while simplifying management for companies through advanced dashboards and data analytics.

Currently, it has over 10,000 active users and expects to close 2025 with 200% growth compared to the previous year, consolidating its position as one of the most promising insurtechs in the corporate benefits sector.

Its corporate structure consists of three complementary companies: the technology platform developer, an insurance brokerage, and an underwriting agency. The latter two are in the process of validation by the DGSFP, with a decision expected by early 2026.

Martín Navaz, Chairman and CEO of PIB Group Iberia, explains: “Employee benefits are a key line in our strategic plan, and technology’s role in this process is undeniable. The acquisition of Vitaance and the addition of Ana Zamora as head of the division position us as one of the leading market players in compensation and wellness solutions.”

Ana Zamora, the new Director of Flexible Compensation at PIB Group Iberia, added: “As an insurtech company, technology has been in our DNA from the start. Joining PIB Group strengthens our service offering and doubles our commitment to employee health protection and prevention. Our purpose is to provide tools that improve people’s lives and foster more humane and sustainable corporate cultures.”
