Node.ai, a firm specializing in artificial intelligence for asset and wealth management, has closed a €1.5 million funding round with the entry of ZMEX Capital Management into its capital through its Luxembourg-based vehicle. The transaction strengthens the company’s position as one of the most innovative players in the application of artificial intelligence to private markets and supports its growth strategy in Europe.
The funding will allow Node.ai to accelerate product development, expand its team, and strengthen its presence in Spain, Switzerland, and other European markets with a strong concentration of private banking, asset management, and family offices.
The company develops artificial intelligence solutions specifically designed to address some of the main challenges of private markets: information fragmentation, analytical complexity, limited transparency, and the high operational burden associated with monitoring and reporting illiquid assets. Its technology enables the automation of analysis, valuation, and monitoring processes, reducing the time spent on asset analysis by more than 40% and manual reporting tasks by 95%.
“This round validates a conviction we have been building for years: specialized artificial intelligence will transform how investments are analyzed and managed, especially in private markets, where information is scarce, fragmented, and difficult to process,” said Óscar Vicente Plaza, CEO of Node.ai.
The entry of ZMEX Capital Management carries additional significance, as it reflects confidence built on strong results: before becoming a shareholder, the group was already using Node.ai’s technology in its investment processes.
“We had first-hand knowledge of Node.ai’s ability to solve real challenges in asset and wealth management. After seeing the impact of its technology, we decided to support the company as partners as well,” said ZMEX Capital Management.
Founded by professionals with more than two decades of experience in private banking, wealth management, and international investment, Node.ai aims to lead from Europe the technological transformation of private markets. In an environment where illiquid assets are gaining weight in portfolios and complexity is increasing, the company is betting on specialized, traceable AI designed specifically for the needs of managers, private banks, and family offices.
About Node.ai
A boutique firm specialized in artificial intelligence for the asset and wealth management industry. The company was founded in 2023 as the commercial brand of EyePerformance AG, a Swiss entity established in 2018 by professionals from UBS in Spain, France, and Switzerland, with more than 25 years of experience in the financial sector and a solid track record in developing quantitative and algorithmic models for international financial institutions.
From Spain as its initial market for development and validation, Node.ai is driving the next generation of financial research—across liquid and illiquid assets—and investment services through artificial intelligence.
Its offering is structured around three solutions: ATHENA, for valuation, forecasting, and monitoring of illiquid assets; SEP Suite, for hyper-personalization of investment services based on behavioral finance and AI; and AXON, for augmented analysis of liquid markets using macroeconomic, fundamental, technical, and transformed factors.
The company helps asset managers, private banks, family offices, and financial advisors increase value by turning data into decisions, personalization into scale, and knowledge into competitive advantage
