NeuronUP, the pioneering digital platform in Spain for cognitive assessment and stimulation backed by Mora Capital, strengthens its growth as a global solution for healthcare professionals. The company has now surpassed 200,000 users, reaffirming its position as a leading tool for neuropsychologists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.
Currently, more than 7,000 healthcare professionals use NeuronUP in their daily clinical practice, resulting in over 150 million exercises completed since its launch. Each month, more than 4,000 professionals log into the platform to treat nearly 20,000 users, with an average of over 5 million activities carried out monthly.
Founded in 2011 by Íñigo Fernández de Piérola, a psychologist and entrepreneur specializing in neuropsychology and neurorehabilitation, NeuronUP was created with the aim of optimizing healthcare professionals’ time. “NeuronUP was born from the need to save time for healthcare professionals so they can focus on patient intervention. Over the years, the project has evolved from a clinical support tool into a global solution,” explains its founder.
The company closed 2025 with revenues of €3 million, representing 100% growth compared to the previous year, consolidating its position as one of the benchmark startups in the digital health sector.
With a team of more than 80 people, the Spanish scale-up headquartered in Logroño is present in over 3,000 centers across 75 countries. Currently, 70% of its activity is concentrated in Spain, while the remainder is distributed across Latin American markets such as Mexico and Brazil, and European countries including Portugal, France, and Italy, among others.
Over the past two years, the company has strengthened its international expansion, and its goal for 2026 is to continue increasing its business volume in the countries where it already operates.
The platform, which offers cognitive assessment and rehabilitation materials in Spanish, Catalan, English, French, Portuguese, German, and Italian, is used in healthcare groups, hospitals, nursing homes, day centers, rehabilitation centers, as well as associations, private practices, schools, and universities. Its users include institutions such as Clínica Universidad de Navarra, Ruber, Sanitas, Multiple Sclerosis Spain (EME), and SaludMadrid, among others.
A comprehensive platform for neurorehabilitation
Among its tools is NeuronUP Rehab, which includes three types of activities in both digital and paper formats: generators—activities that can be created in infinite versions and applied to everyday situations such as organizing, counting, or grocery shopping; games; and cognitive stimulation worksheets organized by difficulty level and customizable according to each patient’s needs.
These solutions are complemented by NeuronUP2GO, which enables remote rehabilitation, and NeuronUP Score, designed to monitor users’ progress.
As a new development, the company has launched NeuronUP Assessment, a new vertical that incorporates neuropsychological tests and assessment batteries, allowing professionals to evaluate each user and subsequently design treatment strategies within the same digital environment.
