Monbake Grupo Empresarial, owned by CVC Capital Partners, has reached an agreement to acquire Triticum, a company specializing in premium horeca bakery products that exceeded €10 million in revenue in 2025. The transaction forms part of the group’s strategy to drive growth, strengthen its innovation capabilities, and enhance its value proposition in the professional channel.
The deal aligns with Monbake’s strategic objectives of consolidating its leadership in the capillary segment in Iberia and developing an innovative offering in line with evolving market trends and customer demands.
Founded and led by Xevi Ramon and Marc Martí, Triticum enjoys a strong reputation in the premium hospitality sector, driven by its focus on innovation and the development of differentiated products that provide a unique identity to its clients.
Following the transaction, Triticum will retain its identity and continue to operate independently, preserving its organizational structure, management team, and focus on its market segment. In addition, Xevi Ramon will take on the role of strategic advisor to the Monbake Group in product development and R&D.
Monbake highlighted that the integration of Triticum fully aligns with its strategy to strengthen its positioning in the Iberian premium capillary segment and to further develop innovation capabilities in line with market trends. The company also emphasized that Triticum brings strong differentiation in product, along with a dynamic and growth-oriented team that will benefit from the group’s scale and solidity.
For his part, Xevi Ramon noted that joining Monbake will enable Triticum to enter a new phase of growth with stronger strategic backing, while maintaining its identity and expanding its market reach.
