Manina Medtech has closed a funding round to advance the industrialization and clinical validation of Seedchrony, the first solution capable of assessing in real time whether the uterus is ready for embryo implantation on the same day as the transfer.

Seedchrony evaluates uterine readiness for embryo implantation through the use of uterine biomarkers and the patient’s clinical parameters. The measurement is carried out non-invasively, without the need for tissue biopsies or fluid aspiration, takes only two minutes, and delivers immediate results.

The medical device has already achieved highly promising results in a pilot trial involving 80 in vitro fertilization patients, conducted in collaboration with the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital Foundation – Research Institute (VHIR).

A team led by Ramon Manyà advised Manina Medtech on this transaction. RCD had previously also advised the start-up on its first investment round.
