Malanta, the first platform in the industry focused on preventing cyberattacks before they happen, has announced the launch of its solution alongside a $10M funding round aimed at stopping security breaches before they materialize. Designed to proactively disrupt AI-driven attackers (“AI attackers”), Malanta provides companies with visibility and control before attacks take shape. The seed round was led by Cardumen Capital, with participation from True Global Ventures (TGV). Notable angel investors from the pre-seed round include Udi Mokady, founder and executive chairman of CyberArk; Benny Schneider; and Rollout Ventures general partners Harel Prag and Amit Greener.

The rise of artificial intelligence has empowered “AI attackers,” who can automate reconnaissance and exploit digital vulnerabilities in a matter of minutes rather than days. Traditional cybersecurity systems are not equipped to handle this type of threat. Malanta’s platform leverages predictive intelligence to detect Indicators of Pre-Attack (IoPA) —the digital fingerprints cybercriminals leave before launching attacks— and predict how and when they will be weaponized. By collecting pre-attack signals across the internet that reveal preparatory activity by attackers —such as new domain registrations, command-and-control servers, or phishing kits under development— Malanta stops “AI attackers” during the preparation phase, before the attack is executed.

“Malanta was born to solve a major gap in the AI era: the window between exposure and breach, which is shrinking dramatically,” explained Kobi Ben Naim, co-founder and CEO of Malanta. “We spoke with over 70 CISOs and founders who told us they are overwhelmed with 3 to 7 threat intelligence sources, yet still find it difficult to operationalize them; moreover, success continues to be measured by cleanup metrics (MTTD/MTTR), not by prevention. We’re here to change that.”

Malanta acts as a pre-attack disruption layer. Within minutes of onboarding, the platform maps a company’s digital footprint and correlates it with the activities of AI-powered “AI attackers.” It then uses neural exposure mapping to classify imminent threats and identify which assets are most likely to be weaponized next.

Malanta was founded in 2024 by serial entrepreneurs Kobi Ben Naim (CEO), Guy Ben Arie (Head of Engineering), Yossi Dantes (CPO), and Tal Kandel (CBO). The platform holds one granted patent and has two more pending, and its team brings over 20 years of cybersecurity experience. The founders previously worked together for more than seven years at CyberArk, where they led deep-tech engineering, artificial intelligence, and product-scaling initiatives from inception to surpassing $100M in annual recurring revenue (ARR).

Malanta is already deploying its technology with clients in the financial, software, technology, and government sectors, and is now generally available for enterprises and design partners.

The funding will be used to expand engineering and go-to-market (GTM) teams, incorporate new data sources, and deepen integrations so customers can automatically apply Malanta’s preventive intelligence to their existing controls. The team is also extending coverage to detect attack infrastructures at even earlier stages of preparation.

“The only way to level the playing field is to prepare —just like the attackers— before the attack happens; in other words, to focus on pre-attack prevention,” said Gonzalo Martínez de Azagra, founder and General Partner at Cardumen Capital. “Artificial intelligence is transforming the cybersecurity landscape, and the global AI and cybersecurity market is expected to reach $86 billion by 2026, according to Mordor Intelligence. The team has built a sustainable advantage for companies of all sizes.”

About Malanta

Malanta is redefining enterprise security for the pre-attack era. As the perimeter disappears and “AI attackers” accelerate, Malanta focuses on what happens before the breach: identifying and dismantling the infrastructure adversaries build to target companies. Instead of chasing alerts, security teams use Malanta to anticipate, act early, and stay one step ahead of attacks that never make the headlines.
