María Teresa Blanquer Aparisi wins the 110th edition of mentorDay with Editless.video, a mobile video editing app, after winning the Pitch Combat of the DemoDay held online on Thursday, July 2.

DemoDay is the online networking event that closes each edition of the program, and Pitch Combat consists of rapid-fire one-minute rounds where each participant defends their project before the community. It was a very exciting closing event: after weeks of intensive preparation, mentors and fellow participants experienced the day filled with energetic pitches, applause, and a few tears of emotion as they witnessed the journey each project had taken.

Editless.video: Professional video editing without a computer or technical experience

María Teresa Blanquer Aparisi won the Pitch Combat with Editless.video, an app designed for content creators, small business marketing specialists, and online educators who produce short videos daily. The app processes rendering in the cloud and automates tasks such as subtitling and vertical framing, eliminating the need for complex software or powerful computers.

The project, which combines a subscription model for individual creators with a plan for teams and agencies, already has a waiting list of 500 registered creators and letters of intent signed with three micro-influencer agencies. Looking ahead to the coming months, María Teresa Blanquer is seeking to bring on a technology partner and close an initial funding round to further develop the product.

Miguel Ángel Benmamán De Bartolo, the greatest dedication of the edition

The 110th edition also recognized Miguel Ángel Benmamán De Bartolo as the person who has worked the most to accelerate his Adoptamascota project, with a total of 4,651 points accumulated from TIPs read, quizzes, exercises, deliverables, interactions, and ratings. This year, the jury did not award a CoInvierte prize, so the 110th edition concludes with these two recognitions.

The 110th edition of mentorDay in numbers

In the 110th edition, 175 entrepreneurs registered. In the first phase, 84 entrepreneurs worked on reading TIPs and solving quizzes tailored to their project's stage, with an average of 60 TIPs covered per company, equivalent to 30 hours of actual work in this part of the program alone. In the second phase, three weeks of live workshops, an average of 25 entrepreneurs participated per session.

Each project also progressed in its business plan through 20 deliverables—including a business model canvas, financial plan, marketing plan, and strategic plan—with personalized feedback from the mentorDay team to optimize each step. Participants also attended 20 interactive webinars on legal viability, healthy entrepreneurship, and financing, totaling almost 40 hours of content, and networked with an average of 47 experts, including webinar moderators and speed mentoring session participants. The event featured a jury of 26 people.

Last Friday, the 16 entrepreneurs who completed the program and received their accreditation also met their assigned mentor, who will accompany them free of charge for the next 12 months.

Upcoming editions of the acceleration program

This was the last DemoDay of the summer; the next one will take place in September. Registration for the 111th edition, which will begin its first phase on July 18th, with workshops planned for the second half of August, is still open.

Meanwhile, those who want to follow mentorDay's activities can do so on their social media channels or make use of the catalog of free tools always available for entrepreneurs on their website mentorday.es.
