Múltiplo Capital has closed a pre-seed funding round totaling €950,000, with participation from several private investors and Antai Ventures.
Among the investors are Aitor Chichetru, co-founder of Fintonic; Sebastián Mejía, co-founder and former president of Rappi; and Alberto Navarro, co-founder and former CEO of SelfBank, among others.
At the same time, the company has received authorization from the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) to operate as a Financial Advisory Firm (EAF).
Múltiplo Capital aims to provide financial advisory services to clients who are traditionally outside private banking due to limited wealth, focusing on individuals with at least €30,000 in liquid assets. The firm emphasizes that it does not sell its own financial products nor holds preferential distribution agreements with any entity.
The management team is led by Cristian Merino, CEO, and Atzari Surinyach, Head of Products. Merino has over 15 years of experience in strategic consulting for the financial sector and has been involved in ventures such as Finanbest, which was later acquired by MyInvestor.
The investment management team is headed by Juan Pablo Jimeno, former Head of Global Markets at BBVA USA and Asset Management at BBVA Spain, and currently a senior advisor at BME
