Kfund has made its first foray into the Argentine market by leading a $2.75 million (€2.48 million) funding round in Patagon AI, a leading Latin American marketing platform that leverages artificial intelligence, according to an official statement.
The seed investment raises Patagon AI’s total funding to $3.85 million (€3.34 million), with participation from firms such as 17Sigma, ONEVC, Norte Ventures, Darwish Family, and Sun Moritz.
Vision for the Future and Expansion of Patagon AI
Gustavo S. Carvalhal, Kfund’s Managing Director for Latin America, emphasized that the next decade of business value creation will be driven by AI agents capable of unlocking unprecedented levels of productivity and decision-making across multiple industries. This vision is particularly relevant for Latin America, a region poised to benefit significantly from this new technological wave.
Kfund highlights that Patagon AI enables marketing teams to expand their customer base through AI agents that optimize the entire conversion process and operate under a results-based model, charging only for effective outcomes such as scheduled meetings or qualified leads.
Mariano Rey, Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Founder of Patagon AI, explained that the platform was created out of a need identified during the team’s own marketing activities. Unlike traditional tools, Patagon AI places the human at the center, allowing teams to maintain control through transparent workflows and a clearly measurable return on investment.
The company will also unveil a new self-onboarding product on December 12 during the Growth C-Level & Revenue Generation Summit in Mexico City. This new solution will enable companies and marketing agencies to set up complete WhatsApp workflows with AI agents in under five minutes.
Patagon AI also provides marketers with full visibility into every customer interaction, attributing results to Meta and Google as verified offline conversions. This approach enhances segmentation, increases conversion rates, and optimizes advertising budgets.
