Kämpe, a Spanish startup and digital platform that facilitates access to and growth in high-demand skilled trades such as electricity, plumbing, and HVAC, has launched a new funding round through the equity crowdfunding platform Startupxplore, with the backing of Zubi Labs as lead investor.

Zubi Labs is a fund specialized in technology startups with social and educational impact, and its participation reinforces Kämpe’s mission to professionalize skilled trades and bridge the gap between training and employment.

Kämpe combines training programs (intensive bootcamps, professional certifications, and online courses) with an app where each user builds a verifiable professional profile. This profile functions as a living record of competencies, validated by coaches, multimedia evidence of real work, official certifications, and skill-specific badges. In this way, the platform transforms training into objective signals of employability, enabling companies to directly assess what each professional can do and replacing the traditional CV.

“We are addressing a structural problem in the labor market: the lack of qualified professionals in essential trades. Our goal is for more young people and workers to access real opportunities and for companies to objectively value their skills,” explain Kämpe’s founders. “Kämpe is the solution to a structural problem in skilled trades employment: the shortage of technical professionals and the disconnect between traditional training and the sector’s real needs. We do not promise immediate employment, but demonstrable employability,” they add.

Kämpe’s model is already generating tangible results. In its first full month of bootcamps, it generated €80,000 in revenue, achieving positive EBITDA; more than 150 companies already use the platform to hire talent, and its LTV/CAC ratio exceeds 5x, with a CAC of approximately €323.

The market supports the company’s strategy. Spain currently needs between 150,000 and 200,000 technical professionals who do not exist today, including electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians. The energy transition, electrification, and the aging workforce are accelerating the shortage of technical talent.

The round will allow Kämpe to expand its technological infrastructure and scale its educational model without increasing physical locations or teaching staff. Thanks to decreasing marginal costs and its scalable technology platform, Kämpe can replicate its model across new trades without rebuilding infrastructure. The startup is seeking €600,000 to reach break-even in the third quarter of 2026 and to establish a standard for technical employability in Spain before expanding across Europe.

Startupxplore, which since 2014 has connected high-potential projects with qualified investors, is fully managing the investment campaign. Interested parties can access all the information about the round and participate in Kämpe’s funding through the platform.

With this strategy, Kämpe is positioning itself as a key player in the professionalization of skilled trades, offering a comprehensive approach that combines intensive training, verifiable professional profiles, and measurable employability.
