Signadori Bio has closed an €11.1 million Seed extension round to accelerate the development of its in vivo engineered monocyte immunotherapy platform for solid tumours.

In this transaction, Invivo Partners participated alongside new investor Taiho Ventures, with continued support from Sofinnova Partners.

The company is advancing its lead programme SiB-2101 towards lead candidate nomination, while further developing its proprietary in vivo monocyte engineering platform.

Signadori Bio focuses on directly engineering monocytes in vivo to reprogram myeloid anti-tumour activity, aiming to overcome the immunosuppressive tumour microenvironment and unlock a new class of off-the-shelf immunotherapies for patients with solid tumours.

The company acknowledged the contribution of its founders Dr Jean-Luc Perfettini and Prof. Nathalie Chaput, its Paris-based team, and its clinical partner Gustave Roussy.
