In May, Innvierte allocated over €5.2 million to 7 new co-investments in private equity

CDTI Innovación, the promoter and sole shareholder of the company Innvierte, closed seven co-investment transactions in May—one of them strategic—for a total amount of €5,236,000, specifically:

• AORTYX, S.L. is developing a new generation of endovascular patches for natural aortic repair and biointegration into aortic tissue. The investment is being made alongside Ship2B Ventures through the BSocial Impact Fund, FESE and BSocial Impact FESE, S.A., and NARA HEALTH CAPITAL I, F.C.R., with CDTI Innovación contributing €2,070,000.
• BIONIC MOBILITY SOLUTIONS, S.L. (ROBOPEDICS) is developing a robotic orthopedic solution for stroke patients. The investment is made in partnership with MONDRAGÓN FONDO DE PROMOCIÓN FCR, with CDTI Innovación contributing €135,000.
• CAPTOPLASTIC, S.L. is developing an innovative technology capable of controlling and capturing microplastics to combat their polluting effects in aquatic environments, promoting sustainability and environmental protection. The investment is made with BEABLE INNVIERTE KETS FUND FCR, with CDTI Innovación contributing €994,000.
• FLOATECH, S.L. has developed a process for manufacturing high-value-added nanomaterials from precursor gases via thermocatalysis. It currently produces nano-silicon anodes for the next generation of lithium-ion batteries used in mobility. The investment is made with GROW SEED FUND I, F.C.R.E. (Grow Venture Partners) and BSV, F.C.R.E. (Big Sur Ventures SGEIC, S.A.), with CDTI Innovación committing €360,000.
• GENERAL EQUIPMENT FOR MEDICAL IMAGING, S.A. (ONCOVISION) develops and commercializes imaging diagnostic equipment for the detection and treatment of cancer and various neurological conditions. The investment is made with ACE 53, S.L.U., with CDTI Innovación contributing €720,000.
• MEDICAL PLASMAS, S.L. is developing new treatments for wounds and chronic ulcers based on cold atmospheric plasma technology. The investment is made with Navarra Tech Transfer, FCR and Un I+D+I Technology Transfer, FCR, with CDTI Innovación contributing €53,000.

Additionally, under the strategic companies line, CDTI Innovación has committed €904,000 to PAYLOAD AEROSPACE, S.L., which develops launch technologies for small satellites.

Since January 2025, CDTI Innovación, through Innvierte, has closed co-investment transactions in 31 companies with a total commitment of €62.44 million and has committed investments in four investment vehicles totaling €283.5 million.

Innvierte is an initiative aimed at promoting business innovation by supporting venture capital investments in technology-based or innovative companies. This program is implemented through the closed-end collective investment company Innvierte Economía Sostenible SICC S.M.E., S.A., which is self-managed and supervised by the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), and of which CDTI Innovación is the sole shareholder.

To date, CDTI Innovación has committed €2.183 billion across 57 investment vehicles that have invested in over 602 companies. Through its co-investment line, it has directly committed €632 million in 188 companies.

Innvierte is part of the Spanish Strategy for Science, Technology and Innovation 2021–2027, approved by the Council of Ministers in September 2020. This Strategy outlines the objectives, reforms, and measures to be adopted in the field of R&D&I to promote its growth and impact. It is one of the cornerstones of the government’s R&D&I policy in the coming years.

The Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI E.P.E.) is the innovation agency of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
