Humand, the internal communication, human resources and corporate culture platform, has successfully closed a US$66 million (€56 million) funding round to accelerate its international expansion and strengthen its presence in strategic markets such as Spain.

The round was led by Kaszek and Goodwater, together with a group of top-tier investors. These include funds such as Y Combinator, as well as leading figures from the tech ecosystem such as Marcos Galperín, Executive Chairman and co-founder of MercadoLibre; Martín Varsavsky, founder of five unicorn companies; Arash Ferdowsi, co-founder of Dropbox; Rajat Suri, co-founder of Lyft; and Guillermo Rauch, founder of Vercel, among others.

Today, the platform is used by more than 1.6 million people across over 1,500 companies in 51 countries. Companies working with Humand include MINISO, Great Place to Work, Domino's and Ogilvy.

Deskless workers account for 80% of the global workforce, around 2.7 billion people. However, for decades most corporate software has been designed for employees who work at a computer. Deskless workers were left out of this transformation. The result is clear: millions of people are digitally unreachable within their own companies. Paper-based processes, physical notice boards, information cascading through managers, limited access to corporate email or no system access at all. This is not only a technological problem. It impacts turnover, productivity and operational efficiency across entire industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, construction, transportation, retail, hospitality, agriculture and education. It is the largest digital gap within companies—and it remains unresolved.

“Humand is a mobile-first platform with AI agents that acts as an intelligent, real-time layer between companies and their frontline teams,” said Eric Kim, co-founder and Managing Partner at Goodwater Capital. “Designed with a consumer-grade experience in its DNA, Humand achieves engagement levels comparable to the best social platforms. By integrating AI agents into communications, HR and operations, it transforms workplace software from static systems of record into dynamic systems of action. We are proud to co-lead this round and support Humand in building the AI agent layer that will power the next generation of work technology.”

“I decided to invest in Humand because of the strength of the founding team, the quality of the product and the clarity of its vision to become a global benchmark in employee experience and internal communication,” said Arash Ferdowsi, co-founder of Dropbox.

With this investment, Humand aims to expand its presence in Europe by strengthening its regional infrastructure, increasing capabilities and further adapting its product to the specific needs of each market. In doing so, the company will continue helping European organizations connect 100% of their workforce, regardless of whether employees work in offices or frontline operational environments.

Within the European context, Spain stands out as a key hub for the company: a reference point from which operations and innovation are coordinated across the region.

Spain, Humand’s European hub

With this investment, Spain is positioned as Humand’s strategic hub in Europe, marking a turning point in its continental expansion. The company, which also operates in markets such as the United Kingdom, Norway, Ireland, Iceland and Portugal, is strengthening its regional infrastructure, professionalizing local teams and ensuring service excellence.

Backed by a platform already validated globally by more than 1.6 million users, the company is reinforcing its commitment to the Spanish market, expanding relationships with companies and consolidating a network of success stories that reflect the value of its solution.

Empowering teams, products and innovation

Humand’s goal is to transform the way employees—especially those who do not work at a desk—connect with their companies, facilitating access to corporate information, improving internal communication and contributing to a more inclusive and efficient employee experience.

Unlike traditional HR systems that merely record information, Humand introduces an AI-driven operational layer that integrates with existing enterprise tools, turning static systems of record into dynamic systems of action for frontline workers.

Thus, the US$66 million raised in this funding round will be used not only to scale regional operations and strengthen teams in Europe, but also to continue developing the product to offer an increasingly scalable solution suitable for all types of companies.

Built with a mobile-first and AI-native approach, the platform allows employees to interact with company processes using natural language directly from their mobile phones.

Another major focus will be deepening the company’s commitment to artificial intelligence through the development of AI Agents designed to automate key processes and improve employee experience from day one. In 2026, Humand will advance with onboarding agents capable of personalizing each new hire’s journey according to their profile and role, making onboarding faster, more personal and more effective.

Along the same lines, the company will continue evolving Sammy AI, Humand’s AI assistant, enabling employees to resolve questions and manage requests directly without relying on HR teams. With more context and access to each organization’s historical information, Sammy AI will drastically reduce repetitive queries and free up HR time to focus on strategic tasks.

With more than 30 modules, the platform functions as a single source of truth for core HR and people operations data within companies.

“This round allows us to strengthen our presence in Europe and consolidate Spain as our strategic hub, where we already operate and from where we coordinate innovation, support and product adaptation to local needs. We are not bringing a promise, but a platform already proven globally and used today by more than one and a half million people. Our focus remains helping companies connect with their entire workforce, whether office-based or not, and evolving our technology to adapt to each local context,” said Nicolas Benenzon, CEO and co-founder of Humand.
