HolaCamp continues its expansion at a steady pace and is moving forward with determination in the fulfilment of its ambitious growth plan. After signing a €10 million capital increase in March with Belgian fund AMAVI Capital, the Catalan company has reached a €21 million financing agreement with Banco Santander, through its Smart Fund, designed to support initiatives with growth potential that are sustainable, innovative, digital and promote job creation.

The operation, which has been advised by the firm JB Capital and Cuatrecasas on the legal and legal side, will allow the Catalan company ‘to continue to meet the objectives set out in our roadmap and continue to look forward to new challenges, always with the ambition that characterises us,’ as Alfonso Leprevost, CEO and co-founder of HolaCamp, says.

‘This historic agreement allows us to continue incorporating new campsites to the chain, strengthen our sustainability and digitalisation policies, improve customer services and continue with the development of our project’, highlights Hector Fina, partner and co-founder of HolaCamp.

Financing aligned with sustainable growth

The financing agreement is part of the Smart Impulse Line of Banco Santander's Smart Fund, which provides flexible structures adapted to the growth needs of companies. This model allows HolaCamp to focus on the development of sustainable and profitable projects, backed by comprehensive support with both financial and non-financial solutions.

For Alfonso Leprevost, CEO and co-founder of the company, ‘this capital injection is the result of a solid and coherent growth strategy, focused on sustainability, innovation, digitalisation and job creation. Values that we share with the Smart Fund and that reinforce our aim to consolidate our position as ‘the next generation camping company’’.

Future expansion plans

In less than two years, the campsite operator and management company has become one of the sector's benchmark companies in Spain. HolaCamp currently manages a network of eleven campsites located in Spain and Portugal, with HolaCamp Camino and HolaCamp Arán Aventura being the latest to join the chain at the beginning of the year, and in June it will announce a new incorporation that will further strengthen its presence in the Spanish market, reaching a dozen locations.

The camping sector still has plenty of room to continue growing and becoming more professional in Spain, as it is in countries such as France, Ireland and the United Kingdom’, says the CEO of HolaCamp, who points out that, in the medium-term future of HolaCamp, he aims to further expand the brand in the Spanish and Portuguese markets and does not rule out exploring new European markets.

About HolaCamp:

HolaCamp, a camping operating company focused on increasing the value of traditionally owner-managed businesses, was born in February 2023, thus continuing the long family tradition in the sector of its founders, Alfonso Leprevost and Alejo Olano, who together with the experience in glamping tent distribution for large events of Hector Fina, decided to start this project. Shortly afterwards, Martin Becker joins HolaCamp with his financial vision. Under the claim ‘The next generation camping company’, HolaCamp was born with the aim of designing, creating and managing #CampStories, spaces of comfort, tranquillity and beauty to live, share and remember great stories, in harmony with nature.
