Healthcare Activos has strengthened its position in France with the acquisition of one of the best nursing homes in Europe located in Champ de Mars in Paris, reaching an investment volume in excess of 115 million euros in the country and consolidating its European presence.
The asset, acquired from CNP Assurance and located in the heart of Paris' city center (between 15th and 7th arrondissement), has a total area of 4,670 sqm and 108 beds, and is leased under a long-term lease agreement to Clariane, one of Europe’s top nursing home operators, with sustainable rent levels over the lease term. The asset has recently gone through extensive renovation to redesign and refurbish the entire building and its main installations.
The acquisition is being funded by Healthcare Activos Yield 2 S.A., a new investment vehicle created in July 2024 in partnership with a global consortium of institutional investors, with the target of investing more than 650 million euros across Europe. The transaction is fully aligned with the vehicle’s investment principles, which focus on operator-driven business models and long-term, guaranteed indexed rents.
