Healthcare Activos is pleased to announce the completion and delivery of a new nursing home in Huétor Vega, which will be operated by Amavir.

The new facility provides 120 beds, distributed across 114 single rooms and 3 double rooms, and is organised into six sectorised living units designed to ensure personalised, safe and high-quality care for residents.

Sustainability has also been a key priority in the development. The centre has achieved BREEAM certification and an EPC “A” energy rating, featuring 70% electrification and on-site renewable generation covering around 10% of the building’s energy consumption.

This new development contributes to addressing the significant shortage of elderly care beds in the province of Granada, adding 120 new places to a region where the deficit exceeds 1,000 beds, while also creating more than 70 permanent local jobs
