NSS Water Enhancement Technology AB has completed SEK 7.2 million share issue with participation from Grow Venture Partners and SkyDeck Europe

The production of the world’s most advanced chips depends on many critical inputs — and one of the most essential is water. NSS Water Enhancement Technology AB has successfully completed a SEK 7.2 million share issue, reinforcing its financial position and enabling the next phase in the commercialization of its ultra-pure water solutions for the semiconductor industry.

The round welcomed international venture capital firm Grow Venture Partners and the well-known accelerator and investor SkyDeck Europe, through its Italian operations. Existing shareholders, including Longrun Capital, GU Ventures, and Vasa Angels, also participated, demonstrating continued confidence in the company’s long-term vision and growth trajectory.

NSS Water is advancing the next generation of Nanopure Water (NPW®) through its proprietary Water Enhancement Tool (WET) technology. The solution removes nano-contaminants larger than 5–10 nanometers, meeting the stringent purity standards required in semiconductor manufacturing. In certain production steps, the technology can reduce water and chemical consumption by up to 90%, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and environmental sustainability.

According to Marc Almendros, Partner at Grow Venture Partners, NSS Water addresses a rapidly expanding need in the semiconductor ecosystem: “The company combines strong technological capabilities with a clear sustainability impact. We believe NSS Water is well positioned to support the industry’s evolution toward higher performance and greater resource efficiency.”

In connection with the share issue, NSS Water has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Erik Östreng as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With extensive semiconductor industry experience and several years of involvement with the company as both shareholder and board member, his appointment represents an important milestone in the company’s industrialization journey and its progress toward commercial customer projects.

The proceeds from the share issue will be used to expand sales and pilot activities, further develop the company’s technology, and prepare for broader market deployment internationally.
