CeleBreak, the digital platform that allows football enthusiasts to find and join matches anytime and anywhere, has received backing from Eoniq.fund with an approved investment of up to €100,000. This strategic support aims to enhance its technology and expand operational capacity in new cities and countries. Jerónimo Bejar, General Partner at Eoniq, highlights its relevance: “CeleBreak uniquely combines technology, community, and sport. Its proposition not only digitizes amateur football but also creates real connections between people. We are excited to support them in this next phase of international growth.”
Based in Barcelona, CeleBreak defines itself as a sports community that removes the traditional barriers of amateur football: the difficulty of finding teammates, available fields, or organized competitions. Through its mobile app, users can join matches and book fields without needing a fixed team or advance planning.
CeleBreak has a founding team led by Daniel Foth as CEO, and a leadership team composed of Ailish Westerhout (Operations, Support, and Product), Diego Zambrano (Operations), and Eric Bauer (Chief Technology Officer). The company has been recognized in its local ecosystem and even participates in the Barça Innovation Hub (BIHUB), which has joined its shareholder base as part of its growth and consolidation strategy in the digital sports sector.
In recent years, CeleBreak has expanded beyond Spain, operating in cities such as Frankfurt and Munich in Germany, as well as in Dubai, and plans to continue its international expansion into new European and global markets. The app has already organized tens of thousands of matches and connects thousands of players to games at different times, locations, and skill levels.
The Eoniq.fund investment will enable CeleBreak to:
“At CeleBreak, we’ve always had a very simple idea: making it easy for anyone to play football anywhere. For me, football is not just a sport; it’s health, movement, being outdoors, and human connection. In a world where we spend so much time in front of screens, we want to create real moments where people meet, form friendships, and share memories playing together.”
— Daniel Foth, CEO and co-founder of CeleBreak
For Eoniq.fund, this operation aligns with its philosophy of supporting tech startups with founders in Spain that have real impact models, digitize traditional sectors, and have the potential to scale internationally. This support is not only financial but also strategic, accompanying CeleBreak in its growth phase.
Currently, the company is finalizing a new funding round between €500,000 and €750,000, with an estimated post-money valuation of €5–6 million. The new funds will accelerate CeleBreak’s expansion in Europe and the Middle East, following its recent launch in Dubai, which already achieves an annualized run rate exceeding €80,000.
