Enisa has just signed its first loan from European funds through the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, under the Ministry of Industry and Tourism.
To date, €41 million has already been committed across 260 operations that will boost entrepreneurship and the Spanish business ecosystem.
FlySurf Brand is the first company to sign a participative loan under the new financing program for innovative startups and SMEs, amounting to €184,000. Although the company was established in Spain in 2021 by Víctor Antona Garcia, founder and CEO, its origins date back to Chile in 2012. FlySurf Brand offers products primarily aimed at beginners and those learning to surf.
Since its creation, Enisa has disbursed €1.45 billion across 9,390 loans, financing 8,150 companies that have launched or grown viable and innovative business projects, supporting consolidation, expansion, access to new markets, and improved competitiveness.
Enisa’s approach is to support companies through all stages of development, facilitating access to financing for small and medium-sized enterprises through successive funding rounds.
Enisa finances all sectors except real estate and finance, with participative loans ranging from €25,000 to €1.5 million. These loans require no collateral or guarantee other than the business project itself. This financing instrument provides a significant incentive for companies and also serves as a quality benchmark for third parties, helping improve access to additional long-term financing from other financial institutions—crucial for sustainable growth.
