Elkargi and Cesce have signed a collaboration agreement aimed at providing Elkargi member companies and Cesce clients with the specialized services offered by both entities, strengthening risk management and access to financial solutions that contribute to internationalization and business growth.
The agreement covers collaboration on both operations developed independently by Cesce and those managed on behalf of the State, thus expanding the range of instruments available to companies in their international expansion processes and risk coverage. This approach enhances access to solutions that combine institutional backing with insurance capacity, tailored to different business profiles and needs.
The alliance reflects the shared commitment of both entities to promote joint projects that deliver real value to companies, fostering financial professionalism and internationalization. It represents a firm commitment to supporting businesses in their development by providing tools that improve competitiveness in an increasingly global and demanding environment.
Through this collaboration, companies will benefit from Elkargi’s expertise, a leader in addressing financial needs related to business projects, including financing, consulting, and financial training. At the same time, they will have access to Cesce’s solutions for comprehensive commercial and political risk management, both through its own operations and the instruments it manages on behalf of the State, consolidating a holistic approach to export support and protection.
Elkargi’s CEO, Zenón Vázquez, emphasized that: "With initiatives like this, we are reinforcing our commitment to accompany, listen to, and provide comprehensive solutions that contribute to professionalization, focusing on financing internationalization as a key element of competitiveness."
Fernando Aguirre, Cesce’s Northern Regional Director, added: "Our collaboration with Elkargi will allow us to be closer to SMEs in the region to promote the various coverages and services Cesce provides through its two lines of business: on behalf of the State, which aims to foster the internationalization of companies, and on its own account, whose solutions and tools for commercial and surety risk management provide security, facilitate financial support, and are crucial for competing in international markets."
The agreement was signed today, 23 February 2026, at Elkargi’s offices in Bilbao, consolidating a strategic relationship focused on delivering innovative and effective solutions for companies.
