Founded in 2019 in response to a challenge its founders experienced firsthand — one shared by many surf schools, namely wetsuit management — Dryfing set out to develop a specific technology capable of washing, disinfecting, and drying wetsuits quickly and sustainably. “After several prototypes and trials with partner centers, we officially launched our first machine, Dryfing URA, in 2023. Since then, the project has continued to evolve, adding new product lines and expanding into new markets,” the company explains.

Dryfing’s goal is to consolidate its presence in Spain and increase the number of installed units, capitalizing on the growth of sports and nature tourism. In the medium term, the company plans to enter the French and Portuguese markets and broaden its solutions to serve new technical sectors. While remaining cautious about growth forecasts, the team emphasizes the enormous market potential. “We have a highly necessary product, a strong commitment to sustainability, and a diversification strategy targeting professional sectors that places us in a very strong position. We are convinced that the coming years will be decisive in achieving a significant leap forward,” they note.

The company currently offers three differentiated solutions: URA, a machine that washes, disinfects, and dries up to ten wetsuits, as well as booties, vests, and rash guards; SUA, designed to clean and disinfect technical textiles without spin-drying, from personal protective equipment to rescue gear; and Haize, a complementary line focused on equipment care and maintenance. The startup, headquartered in the Álava Technology Park, and supported in its development and acceleration by Lanzadera in Valencia, looks ahead with very positive prospects. “Our aim is to strengthen growth in Spain, open new business verticals, and continue expanding our range of solutions,” they conclude.
