Discarlux has formalised the incorporation of the Gipuzkoan company Cárnicas Goia into its project in the premium meat sector.

This transaction is part of the growth strategy driven by Talde since 2024 following its entry into Discarlux’s shareholding structure, with the aim of supporting the consolidation of the leading group in the distribution of high-end beef. With this move, the group expands its penetration in both the domestic and international markets.

Cárnicas Goia has a strong track record in the selection, ageing, and commercialisation of high-quality beef, with a significant presence in prestigious steakhouses within the Horeca channel and in the gourmet retail segment.

The complementarity between Discarlux and Cárnicas Goia will strengthen the group’s value proposition, driving commercial, operational, and industrial synergies. The resulting group will achieve greater scale, with an increase in ageing and butchering facilities, improved efficiency, broader geographic coverage, and a stronger market position.

Both companies will continue to operate independently, maintaining their respective brands, teams, and production units. In this context, José Antonio Goya will remain at the helm of the company, ensuring continuity of the values and expertise that have defined the firm.
