Cuatrecasas has advised a consortium made up of Indar Kartera, BBK Foundation, the Basque Government and Teknei on the acquisition of Ayesa Digital, a global provider of technology and engineering services with a presence in 24 countries across Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia and Oceania.
The transaction, valued at €480 million, represents a key strategic step for Ayesa Digital. Consolidated as a benchmark in innovation and digital transformation, the company will play an essential role in strengthening the productive fabric of the Basque Country, focusing on driving the digitalization of companies and institutions through the development of capabilities in strategic areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, process automation, data management and quantum computing.
Ayesa Digital is currently one of the five largest providers in the sector in Spain. In this new phase, the project will ensure continuity of employment and generate opportunities for incorporation into a global workforce of more than 11,000 employees, of whom 2,000 are based in the three Basque territories.
