CRB Inverbío SGEIC has led the €4M Series A round of Zoundream, together with Verge HealthTech Fund and including TQ Ventures, Mission Gate, Granatus Ventures, Generali Assicurazioni (via HITS - House of Insurtech Switzerland) and Secways.

Zoundream is pioneering the use of AI in pediatric health by transforming infant cries into real-time clinical insights. Babies cry for an average of 2–3 hours a day, yet caregivers are often left guessing the reason, while pediatricians lack objective tools to detect early signs of neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism or language impairments.

With the world’s largest dataset of infant cries and proprietary AI models achieving >90% accuracy, Zoundream can both decode the reasons for crying (hungry, sleepy, distressed…) and act as a potential early biomarker for developmental conditions.

The technology is already embedded in baby monitors from brands like Maxicosi (Dorel Juvenile), Philips, Motorola Solutions, and Goodbaby International, with launches in 20+ countries.

Founded in Barcelona and Basel by Roberto Iannone, Ana Laguna Pradas, Matteo Ingravalle, Paolo Ingraito, the team brings together expertise in business strategy, data science and audio engineering—all inspired by their own experience as new parents.
