COFIDES has backed the international growth of PARÍS/64 through a €250,000 loan, enabling the company to carry out the necessary investments for the opening and setup of its first own store in New York.
The financing, provided through the FONPYME Fund for Foreign Investment Operations of SMEs, allows PARÍS/64 to take a decisive step in its international expansion strategy, consolidating its presence in a key market like the United States.
PARÍS/64 has developed an integrated local production model combining tradition, inclusive employment, and territorial impact. In 2024, the company opened its own factory in the Aranda region (Zaragoza), employing predominantly women and contributing to revitalizing an area affected by deindustrialization and at risk of depopulation. This initiative strengthens local handbag craftsmanship, collaborating with nearby workshops and businesses.
“The internationalization of SMEs that combine quality, design, and a strong commitment to employment is essential for the competitiveness of our economy. With this operation, we are also supporting a project that promotes Spanish talent and incorporates a clear social impact component in its business model,” highlighted Miguel Ángel Ladero, Investment Director at COFIDES.
