Clifford Chance has advised Iridium, a company controlled by ACS, on a USD 1.24 billion guarantee facility agreement arranged by a syndicate of banks led by BNP Paribas and partially backed by Cesce, the Spanish export credit agency.
The facility will enable Iridium to issue a guarantee in connection with the SR 400 Express Lane project, which involves the construction of two controlled-access toll lanes in each direction along approximately 25 kilometres in Atlanta, Georgia—the third fastest-growing city in the United States and home to one of the world’s busiest airports.
The Clifford Chance team was led by partner José Guardo, with support from Global Financial Markets associates Juan Puras, Javier López, and Ana de la Torre.
