Cheyne Capital has provided a €133.7 million senior loan to ActivumSG to finance the acquisition of Fairmont La Hacienda Costa del Sol, a newly built five-star luxury resort located on Spain’s Costa del Sol.
Fairmont La Hacienda, which officially opened its doors in February this year, offers a best-in-class amenity package including a 22,000 sq ft spa, four swimming pools, seven restaurants and bars, three meeting and conference facilities, and two 18-hole golf courses overlooking the Mediterranean coastline.
The resort comprises 311 keys, all featuring seafront views. These include 213 hotel rooms and villas, as well as 98 keys across 42 Fairmont-branded luxury residences available for sale to third-party owners. The residences benefit from full access to all services and facilities of Fairmont La Hacienda and each includes private gardens, private swimming pools, and large terraces with sea views.
Fairmont La Hacienda is the only Fairmont-branded hospitality asset in Spain, underscoring its exclusivity and strategic relevance within the country’s luxury tourism market.
