The start-up Callnak, located in the UMH Science Park (PCUMH), has recently closed a funding round worth 200,000 euros. Of this amount, 100,000 euros come from a private capital increase, while the rest corresponds to financial support the company has received from ENISA. This capital injection has been made possible thanks to the support of the PCUMH Entrepreneurship and Legal Services areas. This milestone will enable Callnak to advance its market launch and continue developing its innovation: footwear made entirely with 3D printing.

As Callnak co-founder Pablo Jaspers points out, this financial injection represents a turning point for the project. “The next step is to achieve our first sales before the end of the year and be operating at full capacity by January.” He adds: “Once we are established in the national market, we want to expand at the European level, which we estimate will happen around 2027.”

Callnak is a company founded by Ignacio Español and Pablo Jaspers, focused on the design and production of footwear manufactured entirely through 3D printing. Thanks to its innovation, it was one of the winners of the 14th edition of the UMH Start-up Creation Marathon. Specifically, it received the special award from the San Crispín-UMH Footwear Chair and the INESCOP award. In addition, it was one of the winners of the Santander X Spain Awards granted within the framework of the 14th UMH Marathon.
