Buenavista Infrastructure, through the investment vehicle URUK Capital, S.L. -equally owned in partnership with Nauplia Capital- has acquired 100% stake of Marina Burriananova, S.A.U.
The acquired company was previously owned by Gimecons Construcciones y Contratas, S.L., a portfolio company of Grupo Gimeno. Located in the municipality of Burriana (Castellón), Marina Burriananova is a well-established facility with over 17 years of operating history. The concession, which was originally set to expire in July 2035, was recently extended until 2045, ensuring another 20 years of activity.
The marina currently features 345 berths with an occupancy rate of nearly 95%, along with 19 commercial units and workshops, 76 storage units, and a dry marina, resulting in an overall occupancy rate of approximately 90%.
This transaction marks URUK Capital, S.L.'s third investment. The vehicle was established to invest in marinas across Spain and Portugal, and with this acquisition, Buenavista Infrastructure further strengthens its strategic commitment to assets linked to the sustainable development of nautical infrastructure on the Iberian Peninsula.
The completion of the transaction was supported by various advisors: ILV Silver and Ramon y Cajal acted on behalf of the buyer, while KPMG and PwC advised the seller, all of whom contributed to the successful outcome of the deal.
