Indraventures I, Indra’s new private equity fund, has made its first investment by acquiring a stake in the Valencian start-up FYLA Laser, which specializes in wireless laser communications.

The Indraventures I fund, recently registered with the CNMV (Spanish National Securities Market Commission), has up to €200 million available to invest in start-ups and SMEs developing disruptive solutions considered key to Europe’s technological sovereignty.

FYLA Laser is a Valencian deep-tech start-up that develops Free Space Optics (FSO) technology and ultrafast lasers, with applications in high-speed wireless communications.

In this transaction, BDO Spain Deal Advisory provided financial due diligence services, while BDO Abogados carried out legal, tax, and labor due diligence.

BDO highlighted Indra’s continued trust in its services, with special thanks to Alberto Pintado, Jaime Sáenz Franco, and Carmen Salar for their collaboration in this transaction.
