Barbara IoT, a technology company backed by Seed Capital Bizkaia and specialized in cybersecurity and the intelligent management of critical infrastructure, has closed a €4.5 million strategic funding round.
This new capital injection will allow Barbara IoT to accelerate its international expansion, with a focus on Europe, the Middle East, and the United States, as well as to further consolidate its technology for the secure and scalable management of distributed assets across sectors such as energy, mobility, industry, and telecommunications.
Barbara IoT develops a platform that enables the deployment of artificial intelligence and advanced applications directly at the edge of the network, ensuring security, resilience, and regulatory compliance. This capability is particularly relevant in a context where critical infrastructures require solutions that combine local processing, protection against cyber threats, and real-time operations.
The round will enable the company to scale international projects and strengthen its presence in markets where the digitalization of networks and distributed assets is a priority.
